About me

Why you might want to find out about me, I don't know!

Since October 2002 I've been minister of Fintry Parish Church of Scotland in Dundee.

Before coming into the ministry I was in Computer Science, working for Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre, part of Edinburgh University. Edinburgh Uni was also where I got both my Computing and Theology degrees.

Following my Theology degree I spent 18 months at Davidson's Mains Parish Church in Edinburgh, completing my training for the ministry. After that I spent nearly five years as Associate Minister at Dalziel St Andrew's Parish Church (broken link) in Motherwell.

I'm married to Helen, and there are some pictures of us and the kids here.

Outside of work and family, I'm involved in the local LUG (Linux Users Group), and have variously dabbled with Linux and related tools over the years. See here if you're interested!
